TRUCK SHOW LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE OF CLAIMS

1. Acknowledgment of Risk: I understand that participation in and attendance at a truck show involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, death, property damage, vehicle damage, accidents, mechanical failure, weather conditions, vandalism, and actions of other participants or spectators. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks.
2. Release and Waiver of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to participate in or attend this event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, hosts, property owners, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me or my property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. Vehicle Responsibility: I certify that any vehicle I bring to the event is properly insured, maintained, and operated in a safe manner. I accept full responsibility for my vehicle and any damage or injury it may cause. I release Truck Town from liability and understand that I am liable for any weather events or damage, accidents, or acts of God.
4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and defend the released parties from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from my participation or attendance at the event.
5. Medical Consent: In the event of an emergency, I authorize event staff to obtain medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred.
6. Photo & Media Release: I grant permission for the use of my image, likeness, or vehicle in photographs or videos taken at the event for promotional or social media purposes without compensation.
7.Alcohol, Drugs, and Legal Compliance Clause: I agree to comply with all local, state, and federal laws while attending or participating in this event. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Alcohol consumption, if permitted, must be responsible and lawful. I understand that operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any participant or attendee found to be intoxicated, impaired, or engaging in unlawful behavior may be removed from the event at the sole discretion of event organizers without refund and may be reported to law enforcement if necessary. I assume full responsibility for my actions and release the event organizers from any liability arising from my failure to comply with this clause.
8. Compliance with Rules: I agree to comply with all event rules, instructions, and safety guidelines. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event without refund.
9. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State Kansas.
10. Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver, fully understand its terms, and sign it freely and voluntarily. I understand that by checking the box below this document, I am giving up legal rights.
